Argon arc welder wanted in Herefordshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Herefordshire, England. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
