Fettler wanted in Jeff Davis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Jeff Davis County, Texas. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
