Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Woodford County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
