Shuttering charge hand — Van Zandt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Van Zandt County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
