Lift maintenance fitter — La Paz County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in La Paz County, Arizona. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
