We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lawrence County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
