PVC window fabricator — Sussex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Sussex County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
