Immediate opening: we are hiring a mason's helper in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
