Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Goochland County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
