Vacancy available: gtaw welder (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Moultrie County, Illinois. You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts.
