Brick and block layer • Belknap County, New Hampshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Belknap County, New Hampshire. The job is on a new-build development. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Full-time, day shift.
