Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. You will be based at a garment factory. You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
