Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Nemaha County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Full-time, day shift.
