Great opportunity: vertical transportation technician (New Jersey)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Bergen County, New Jersey. You will work at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Meals and transport allowance provided.
