Cnc turning machinist • Placer County, California

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Placer County, California. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience.
