Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Pennington County, South Dakota. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Rotating shifts.
