Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Chesterfield County, Virginia. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges On the job you will handle: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
