Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Cheshire East, England. Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
