Bulldozer operator • Santa Barbara County, California

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Santa Barbara County, California. You will be based at a plant hire yard. Day to day you will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
