Earthmoving equipment operator — Chautauqua County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Chautauqua County, New York. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Your main tasks: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up Six days a week, one day off.
