Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Menard County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
