Ideal candidate: • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner On the job you will handle: • Read and clear ECU fault codes • Check charging system output and battery voltage • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter • Repair air-conditioning electrical controls • Trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults • Read wiring diagrams and trace circuits Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
