On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Give each garment a final press before packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
