Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Guilford County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
