We are recruiting: we are hiring a mason's helper in Moore County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Day-to-day duties: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator 1+ years on the tools preferred.
