We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in West Sussex, England. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
