Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto body repairer in York County, Nebraska. The job is in a smash repair workshop. Day to day you will strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
