Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals 1+ years on the tools preferred.
