Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Edmonson County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Edmonson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 3+ years on the tools preferred.
