Bar bender and fixer — Mille Lacs County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
