Fire and safety officer — Sir Powys

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Sir Powys, Wales. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training The role involves: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
