Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Grayson County, Kentucky. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to read and match factory paint codes On a typical shift you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting.
