Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Henderson County, Illinois. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. Requirements: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure The role involves: • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
