We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
