Abattoir worker wanted in Mills County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Mills County, Iowa. You will be based at a halal meat counter. You will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; season and marinate meat on request; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
