Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Essex County, Vermont. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting 3+ years on the tools preferred.
