We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Medina County, Ohio. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Give each garment a final press before packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
