Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Worcestershire, England. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
