Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Six days a week, one day off. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
