General labourer — North Somerset

Vacancy available: we are hiring a general labourer in North Somerset, England. The job is on a commercial building project. Day to day you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days. Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
