Fettler — Sweetwater County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
