Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
