Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Hinds County, Mississippi. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
