Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days.
