Fabricator-welder — Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Franklin County, Arkansas. The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
