Counter butcher wanted in Slope County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Slope County, North Dakota. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
