Fabricator-welder — Graham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Graham County, Arizona. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off.
