Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in City of Bristol, Virginia. You will be based at an infrastructure site. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
