Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Flagler County, Florida. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
