Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Montgomery County, North Carolina. The job is at a residential building site. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Day to day you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
